The trip was okay.  The sites we saw were absolutely beautiful.  Alona our hospitality manager that was with us everyday was FABULOUS!!!  She helped with so many things.   

There were several other things that occurred that you should know about that made the trip a bit difficult.   I will send an email as there isn't enough space here to properly explain.

Thomas College Men's Soccer: Netherlands & Germany 2025

Had a great experience in Costa Rica with WNE University and Active Sport Travel. Great tour guides, local and American, who guided us through the trip. Lots of activities which we would never normally get the chance to experience along with sight-seeing of the area. Great accommodation and the tour bus was comfortable and clean. My highlights were the white- water rafting, monkeys, iguanas, soccer and sunset cruise!

Western New England Men's Soccer - 2024 Trip

This trip was an amazing experience.  What a great opportunity to spend time getting to know the other teammates and their families.  I met so many nice and wonderful people.   I highly recommend a college sports trip as a way to bond and build new relationships.  Active Sports Travel did a great job organizing almost 40 people everyday and keeping us on track.  they planned amazing activities that i will remember for a long time.  

Max and Ryan were awesome! Great food and planning. Will forever remember this trip

Idaho State Women's Basketball - 2024 Trip

I was very impressed with the experience and care provided by Active Sport on our women's basketball team tour to Paris, France. The itinerary was perfectly timed and prepared, and the staff and guides accommodated every need and request, usually in advance. The meals, lodging, and excursions were all first class. There are plenty of outfits capable of organizing an excellent tour, but what sets them apart are the people. We had the undivided attention of three experienced guides who took a genuine interest in our student athletes and program. They formed meaningful relationships and were authentically invested in our students and the quality of their experience. It was a stellar experience for all involved.


The people in the group are amazing. Traveling with them to France for the first time is phenomenal. Most certainly excited for the next adventure. Thumbs up! 

Indio France Trip - 2024

We had a wonderful trip from Maine to NYC.  ActivSport Travel handled our flights and hotel, and were able to make a change to the hotel a few months out for an upgrade.  They were very flexible and accomodating and Jeff Davis takes a personal interest in ensuring you have a good trip.  Thanks again!

Mount View Chamber Singers NYC Trip

The Chamonix trip was great.  I really enjoyed the Valle Blanche trip which was the highlight for sure.  The accommodations at Crystal du Jade was a great choice as it allowed enough room for a group of 5 to still be comfortable in the apartment.  The location was perfect for all we had to do.  It was great to meet some new faces in the group while having the freedom to roam on my own at times.  

Friends & Family Ski Trip 2024

The overall trip was a wonderful experience.  It was apparent a lot of pre-planning was done toward accommodations, excursions, the World Cup tickets and transportation, and so on.  Thank you for all of this.  
Alex as a U.S. trip leader was not only great with keeping us all together and making sure the trip ran smoothly, but also was a part of the trip toward engaging with all the travelers and being a part of our experience.  
Ian, as our in country trip leader was just as great with his participation, helpfulness, organization skills, and the knowledge he shared about his home country and his all together friendliness.  
Both should be commended for the awesome experience they provided for this trip and their care of all of us.  "Patience is a virtue" and both exhibited this wholeheartedly to make sure everyone was a part of the group and also being taken care of.
On another note, only thing that could have been better would be a bit more communication on the front end after everything was paid (April??).  A few short messages that let the participants know they didn't send their money, etc. to a "scam" situation.  Just "hello emails" or something.  It did come down to about the Sunday before whereby a message went out on "Band" asking for an itinerary.  For myself, the lack of ongoing/continued communication, and then no real itinerary until a couple days before departure created a lot of stress and angst.  I hope this is constructive as it is not meant to be harsh or anything else.
In closing, an awesome trip and experience that was provided by awesome guides and companies.  
Again, I thank you for a trip of great memories.

FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 - Follow Team USA

A fantastic time! Great accommodations and very organized. A great mix of sightseeing and watching soccer! I would definitely plan a future trip with this company! 

We had a great time!   The tour was well organized with few, if any, snafus.  The activities were fun and the guides were very informative.  There was a good balance between planned activities and free time to explore.  Alex and Ian were great!  The accommodations were quite comfortable and the locations were good for walking around and exploring. Our group really got along well and everyone looked out for each other. Thanks for a wonderful trip! 

We had a great time. Trip leaders, David and Alona, were wonderful. 

SCIAC Basketball 2023

We had a wonderful trip. It was nice to have a mix of planned activities and free time. We especially appreciated Alona Claro, who was a wonderful guide and helped with many of our needs. 
The only thing that was difficult was that the schedule kept changing, so it was difficult to make plans for our free time. Thankfully, we didn't try to over plan, and kept ourselves flexible, but the changes (sometimes last minute) were sometimes frustrating to keep up with. 
But overall, our experience was very positive and we came home with many wonderful memories.

We had a wonderful time. Max, Daniel and Bella were very helpful and knowledgeable about Paris, France.  The itinerary was perfect. The food was delicious and the accommodations at Les Citadines were comfy and practical. We were right next to the métro! In addition, more than half our travelers really did well  on this trip. They were positive and appreciated everything they experienced during this amazing journey. Merci beaucoup Activ Sports Travel and a big shout out to Alex LeGore. We missed you! Would love to see you next year. 😊

Indio High School Paris Trip - 2023

We had a great time skiing in the Alps!  I had so much fun on the first trip organized that I had to do it again and I wasn’t disappointed.  Great people and friends and family made for a wonderful experience.  Plenty of good food, restaurants, and wine.  All the necessary details were handled by ActivSport Travel making this a worry-free vacation.  I can’t wait to do it again!

Friends & Family Ski Trip 2023

We had an amazing trip.  Everything was organized well and guides were able to adjust schedules when needed.  Meals were good and well planned out for a party of 48!

Bridgewater Women's Soccer - Europe Trip

While I believe Alex and the travel company did their very best in accommodating the students and their requests, I would say the trip overall was fun but tough. This has very little to do with Alex and WeTravel; I believe he and the company put the itinerary together based on the students' requests.

What we did/saw/experienced was wonderful and once-in-a-lifetime; the pace at which we experienced it was exhausting. We simply did too much in too little time. 

Fairfield Men's Rugby 2022 - Rome & Florence, Italy

The trip was delayed for two years due to Covid.  Active Travel was not particularly good at communication prior to the trip.  They worked hard on sight to accommodate the needs of those on the group, but need to have done much more homework prior to our departure.  They are nice people and provided a three star trip.

Claremont Mudd Scripps Swimming

Alex was a very nice young man but the communication for and execution of this trip were unacceptable. Everyone uploaded passport information well in advance yet the tour company didn't catch that the head coach's passport would be ineligible for travel. There were supposed to be two swim events which ended up being one. Not all the tours were guided. The downloadable trip information packet was published too late (not allowing for long enough to order mandatory covid tests for example). And response time to emails was very poor.

This was an incredible experience! I felt like I got to see a lot of Barcelona and Rome in a short period of time. You did a great job picking places for us to eat as a large group (which I know is hard in Europe.) 

Some of my favorite activities were the swim meet, the bike tour in Barcelona, the Olympic museum, and the tour on the last day of Rome (the Pantheon and more sights.) Thanks so much for this trip! I bet larger groups like ours can be a bit hectic. But, I really enjoyed my time and felt like I got to know the cities. 

As a member of the dive team I was unable to compete at all. The pools were not setup and not once did I enter a pool or compete. On the tourism side, the restaurant choices were not of any quality, athletes were only given limited  water and sub par tours. For the latter half of the trip I did not attend any events of the tour and through simple youtube or internet searches I found more affordable and  authentic restaurants. The travel aspect of the trip was also very unplanned. The transition from Barcelona to Rome was done in the morning with no meals available after travel with travel leading into a full day of tours. I would never pay for this service again and I do think the tour guides were very kind hearted people but sadly this was not a tour i would ever recommend and as a byproduct this company.

SImply amazing. This trip was one, eye-opening, and two, an experience of a lifetime. Honestly, our tour guide and bus driver made this trip. Christian and Gerardo were more than we could have asked for. I think because of them, I might visit Costa Rica again.

MVHS Chamber Singers Cultural Trip

The trip was really fun and everything felt very organized which made it easy to just enjoy myself rather than worry about travelling details, sleeping arrangements, etc.!

We had a fabulous time on our group trip to Costa Rica.  Alex was immensely helpful leading up to our trip.  He answered all of our questions and had already thought of many ways to help us before we even knew we had questions.  There was an information packet assembled specifically for our group and our trip.  While there, Jeff took personal care of us to ensure our needs and wants were met.  We were able to defer to his expert knowledge of the areas we visited - it is clear he has a personal passion for travel and for Costa Rica.  Additional, the local guide and bus driver (Cristian and Gerardo) were incredible.  Cristian has a vast wealth of knowledge from the political history of Costa Rica to geological/topographical information to environmental knowledge of the flora, fauna, and general climate of the different areas we visited.  We were able to see three beautiful parts of the country all under the warm, careful stewardship of ASTravel and their local affiliates.  I highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again for our future travel needs.

Pura Vida

This trip was amazing. The team guiding us on  Our adventure couldn't have been better.  We had a good balance of activities and relaxation and the accommodations were great. I loved going to a volcano,  rainforest, hotsprings, zipplining. Surfing and relaxing on the beach. The local guide and drive were quick to help us see wildlife and try new foods, they would pull the bus over so we could take in all Costa Rica had to offer. I would not hesitate to set off on another adventure with this team. Pura vida

My trip was cool! I really like the attentiveness from my agent, able to contact them and they scheduled everything for me. Made a solo trip a breeze!

Had a really fun time. The tour guides were great and we got to see a lot of beautiful sites.

We had "the trip of a lifetime!" The scheduling, food, and accommodations were fantastic!


Our trip was a blast! Had two great tour guides who knew our areas of travel very well. They were friendly, fun and energetic. Looking forward to my next experience with this travel group.
